Children don’t need perfection.
If we can manage safe and predicable most of the time, avoiding all forms of abuse and neglect, taking full responsibility for our parenting mistakes, then the children will be okay.
Do your best. Take responsibility for your worst. Repair. Always repair. And ditch the guilt for being human.
Also - delight in them - and have fun together.
